All over now, our trip is almost finished....but not quite......
As an impromptu "Hey what should we do to fill in the last day" we organized ourselves a tour of the Lion Park, about 20 minutes drive from Jo'Burg. They had quite a few different animals here but nothing we had seen heaps of over the last 4 days! It would have to be something pretty cool to get us excited.
Well after seeing some lion enclosures and some lions doing something that lions apparently aren't very shy about, we got to go into the nursery! Yep we got to pat and cuddle baby lions, lynx and hyena. They were so adorable, except for the poor hyena - damn those things are ugly. So that's pretty much the first time I have cuddled a lion and I have the photos to prove it!
Next stop: Mr. Airport....
