Aussie contingent: Andrew Abbott and moi, Andy Cooke! Flight from Melbourne to Perth took 4 hours and then from Perth Johannesburg another 11 hours. It was late in the evening when the plane arrived at Jo'Burg International airport. I got a ride to the hotel which was about an hour trip and then checked in to the Glenburn Lodge. I was totally exhausted after arriving, so I checked out the TV channels a bit but soon fell a sleep to dream about what was ahead.
