F1/LeMans Setup - Ashpalt/Concrete

Here is my LeMans Ashpalt/Concrete setup that I used at the
TCS Nationals at Castle Hill, Sydney:

  • Tamiya ActoPower 17 turn motor (crazy fast!)
  • Toyota Lemans shell (maximum downforce wing angle)
  • 'B' compound tyres front and rear (no tyre warmers!)
  • LeMans graphite chassis plate
  • Standard rear lower pod plate
  • Standard battery mount with black rubber 'o' rings for pod attachment
  • both pod pivot screws tight as possible
  • Aluminium motor mount
  • Adjustable rear ride height pod with no.2 axle adjusters in 'chassis up' position
  • Graphite axle
  • Blue aluminium hubs
  • 22 pinion (64 pitch)
  • 93 spur (64 pitch)
  • Teflon damper plates
  • Soft damper lube
  • Blue spring !!!
  • 30 weight shock oil
  • Standard front end
  • Offset steering blocks
  • Gold front springs
  • 0.5 mm toe out
....and that's about it!
